ANDERSON, TX (12/22/2016) — A motorcycle crash on Thursday afternoon claimed the life of Ronald Davis.
Grimes County authorities identified 48-year-old Ronald Duane Davis (of Montgomery) as the victim of a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred on Highway 90 near Anderson, Texas.
Police reported that at around 12:30 p.m., 48-year-old Stephanie Ashmore was traveling northbound in a Chevrolet pickup truck when she drifted into southbound traffic and struck a Harley-Davidson motorcycle—driven by Davis—head-on.
Ronald Davis was pronounced deceased at the scene. Ashmore was taken to a nearby area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Commentary
The at-fault party in this collision could face charges for this incident, since her failure to control her vehicle took the life of an innocent motorcyclist.
