GRAPE CREEK, TX (10/05/2016) — Scott Cornstubble was identified as the victim of a motorcycle accident that occurred on Wednesday night.
According to authorities, 45-year-old Scott Lynn Cornstubble was seriously injured following a motorcycle accident that occurred at the intersection of FM 2288 and Concho Drive in Grape Creek, Texas (near San Angelo).
Police reported that at around 9:00 p.m., 19-year old Christian Vargas was traveling northbound in a 2003 Chevrolet 3500 when he failed to yield right-of-way and struck a southbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle, driven by Cornstubble.
Cornstubble was airlifted to Shannon Medical Center with incapacitating injuries; his current condition is unknown.
“Texas Department of Public Safety would like to reminder drivers [to] always look twice for motorcycle riders, especially when at intersections,” the Texas Department of Public Safety stated.
