KOSSE, TX (12/12/2015) — A fatal crash seriously injured Shane and Adam Mahfood, and killed Christina Shane and Quinton Bozeman early Saturday morning.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), a single-vehicle rollover accident in Kosse, Texas claimed the lives Christina Shane and Quinton Bozeman, both 25, and left 24-year-old Shane Mahfood and 26-year-old Adam Mahfood injured.
DPS stated that the accident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. along Limestone County Road 707.
Bozeman was reportedly driving in a 2003 Nissan Frontier crew-cab pickup truck when he approached a curve, lost control of the vehicle, exited the roadway, and rolled over into a creek bed.
Limestone County Sheriff Dennis Wilson stated that the vehicle had rolled far enough down the embankment that the wreckage was no longer visible from the road. One of the injured men managed to climb up the slope where he could secure help.
Bozeman and Shane were both killed in the accident.
Officials stated that Adam Mahfood remains in the surgical intensive care unit of Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Medical Center in Waco, Texas. Shane Mahfood was listed in fair condition at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan, Texas.
Police believe alcohol may have been a contributing factor in this fatal car accident.
