SILSBEE, TX (03/04/2016) — Owens Harvard was killed, and Arthur Turner, Jeremic Wilson, and an 8-YO child were injured on Friday night following a head-on collision.
Authorities have identified 22-year-old Arthur Turner, 29-year-old Jeremic Wilson, and an 8-year-old girl as the 3 injured victims of a head-on accident that occurred on Highway 327 near Silsbee, Texas.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers stated that at around 11:00 p.m., 36-year-old Owens Harvard was traveling in a Jeep when he crossed the center line on TX-237 and struck Turner’s pickup truck head-on.
Harvard lost his life in the wreckage.
Investigators reported that Turner was flown to Christus Southeast Texas Hospital St. Elizabeth for surgery. Wilson, Turner’s passenger, was also taken to St. Elizabeth, but in stable condition.
The third occupant of the pickup truck, the 8-year-old girl, was taken via private vehicle to the hospital for observation.
DPS Troopers are currently investigating possible factors that could have lead to this fatal collision.
