WACO, TX (07/05/2015) — A single vehicle crash along I-35 in Waco seriously injured 35-year-old Angela Ann Gray.
According to officials, one person was killed and one was seriously injured in a single-vehicle car accident on Interstate 35 at Forrest Street in Waco, Texas early Sunday morning.
Authorities stated that 43-year-old Nicole Willis was driving northbound on I-35 when she lost control of her Honda CR-V, hit the guardrail and a light pole, before flying off the overpass onto the street below. The Honda landed on the driver’s side, and Willis was killed on impact.
According to Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton, Angela Gray (Willis’ passenger) suffered serious head injures and was transported via ambulance to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospital after both women were extricated from the vehicle.
Gray’s condition has been listed as fair by a hospital spokesperson.
This crash remains under investigation.
