Denton, Texas — 64-year-old Terry Bixler died early Friday morning (11/01/2013) when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck, police said.
Terry Bixler was riding his 650 Suzuki motorcycle westbound on Windsor Drive when he was struck by a 1500 series Chevrolet pickup truck who was traveling southbound on Elm Street. The collision occurred just after 5:30 a.m. when, according to reports, Mr. Bixler failed to stop at a red light. We must stress though that this is simply preliminary information, and may change as an official investigation is performed.
Bixler was transported to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton with severe head, chest and lower body injuries. He was pronounced dead at 5:52 a.m.
