VICTORIA, TX (07/18/2015) — A crash on Saturday night in Victoria, Texas seriously injured Theodore Villanueva, who has now died from his injuries.
Victoria police have confirmed that Theodore Villanueva has died five days after being seriously injured in a crash on Saturday night at the intersection of North Navarro Street and Huvar Street in Victoria, Texas.
According to authorities, Clinton Klare, 26, was driving a gray Mercury Grand Marquis when he failed to stop at a red light and broadsided Villanueva’s white Smart car on the driver’s side.
Villanueva was first transported to DeTar Hospital Navarro and later transferred to UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He was listed in critical condition before passing away on Thursday.
This fatal crash remains under investigation by Victoria police.
