VICTORIA, TX (07/14/2015) — An 8-year-old girl was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday in Victoria, Texas.
According to reports, an 8-year-old girl was injured after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Old Goliad Road and Zac Lentz Parkway in Victoria, Texas on Tuesday.
Trooper Ruben San Miguel, a Department of Public Safety spokesman, stated that 30-year-old Travis Humphrey (of Victoria), his 30-year-old wife Lacy, and their 8-year-old daughter were traveling northbound on Zac Lentz Parkway in a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado when Katherine Brewer, 22, failed to yield right of way at Old Goliad Road and crashed her 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 into the Humphrey’s pickup.
The impact caused the Humphrey’s Silverado to roll and land in a nearby ditch.
The three adults involved in the crash were reportedly uninjured, however, the child was transported to DeTar Hospital for precautionary measures.
Brewer was cited for failure to yield right of way.
