TYLER, TX (08/28/2015) — Three people were injured, and one man was killed, after a two-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), Dennis Smith and Dana Smith were injured, and 44-year-old Duncan Harris was killed, following a two-vehicle crash along Toll 49 at Highway 31 in Tyler, Texas on Friday afternoon.
DPS reported that Harris was traveling northbound on Toll 49 in a Ford Mustang when he veered off the roadway, into the southbound lane, and was broadsided by a white Ford Expedition, driven by Dennis Smith.
The impact claimed the life of Harris.
According to the preliminary investigation report, both the Smith’s and a third occupant of the Expedition were all transported to East Texas Medical Center (ETMC) with non-life-threatening injuries.
