SAN ANTONIO, TX (09/06/2016) — An early morning Tuesday wreck claimed the lives of Victoria Robles, and Adrian and Isaac Lorio.
Authorities have identified the victims of a fatal rollover accident that occurred along Loop 410 and Highway 37 in San Antonio, Texas as: 19-year-old Victoria Robles, 8-year-old Adrian Lorio, and 6-year-old Isaac Lorio.
Police reported that at around 1:20 a.m., the driver of a southbound Chevrolet Suburban lost control of the vehicle and struck a tri-cable center barrier, causing the SUV to roll several times. All the occupants of the vehicle—except for one 21-year-old man—were ejected. Police have not said who they believe was driving the vehicle at the time, but that the vehicle had seven occupants, including 24-year-old Destiny Martinez.
Robles, and Martinez’s two sons Adrian and Isaac, did not survive the crash. Martinez, her 21-year-old brother, and her two other children are currently hospitalized in critical condition. Martinez’s 2-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter were transported to University Hospital for treatment, while Martinez and her brother were taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center.
Officials stated that no one in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt. An investigation is ongoing.
