TEXARKANA, TX (10/21/2014) — William Duncan and William Duncan Jr. were both hospitalized after being rear-ended by an 18-wheeler truck on I-30 this week.
According to early reports, William Duncan and his son, William Duncan Jr., were pulling a trailer behind their blue Chevy 1500 series (Silverado) pickup truck on Interstate 30 Tuesday, when an 18-wheeler semi-trailer reportedly struck the rear of their trailer and caused an accident near the 218 mile marker.
Both William Duncan and William Duncan Jr., both from Jefferson TX, were transported to a local hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured.
Authorities are still investigating, and anyone who may have witnessed the accident are urged to call the Texarkana Police Department at (903) 798-3116.
