DALLAS, TX (06/10/2015) — A 24-year-old woman was killed on Wednesday after she was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 35E near 8th Street in Dallas, Texas.
UPDATE 06/11/2015: Authorities have identified the victim as 24-year-old Johnetta Morgan.
According to police, a 24-year-old woman was killed on Wednesday morning after she was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 35E in Dallas, Texas.
Dallas County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Raul Reyna stated that the woman was involved in a wreck on southbound I-35E near 8th Street around 7:00 a.m. As she exited her vehicle on the highway, she was struck by another vehicle. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have closed the right lane of southbound I-35E while they continue to investigate the incident.
