Five teens, whose names have not yet been released, were driving along Green Oaks Blvd around 3 a.m. when their sedan plowed into a tree, splitting it in half. The driver and the front passenger (believed to be his brother) died at the scene. The three backseat passengers were rushed to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth where one of them, a young lady, died from her injuries. The remaining two victims are listed in serious condition.
Tinniyah Miles and family friend Alberta Sago were just leaving the hair salon when the car accident occurred. The Mazda driver was speeding the wrong direction along Grauwlyer Road. His car jumped the curb and hit the two ladies. Witness report that young Tinniyah was thrown 20 feet, and Alberta was dragged by the vehicle over 50 feet. The Mazda sped off without stopping.

A sedan driven by a suspected drunk driver hit a motorcyclist head-on around 1 am Thursday morning. The accident occurred along the divided six-lane Robert B Collum Boulevard just north of the DART railway tracks near Fair Park. A white sedan started driving south in the northbound lanes around 1 am. A motorcyclist heading north was rounding the road’s curve and slammed into the sedan head on.

An 18-wheeler was exiting westbound US-80 onto northbound I-635 when the cargo shifted, throwing the rig off balance. The 18-wheeler flipped off the road into the overpass support. The cab was pinned between two of the pillars.
A city of Irving employee and another man were retrieving traffic cones along the 4900 block of O’Conner Road. Around midnight, a pickup truck heading south on O’Conner struck the trailer the city worker was pulling. Both the trailer and the pickup flipped.
